NetworkPilot is operated by PilotSuite LLC. These policies are written for the NetworkPilot service and its authorized security assessment workflow.

01

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between PilotSuite LLC, doing business as NetworkPilot ("NetworkPilot," "we," "us," or "our"), and the person or organization using the service ("you" or "Customer").

By accessing NetworkPilot, creating an account, starting a scan, or purchasing a subscription, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use NetworkPilot for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.

02

Accounts and workspace responsibility

You must provide accurate account information, maintain control of your authentication methods, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that each user has appropriate authority.

You may not share credentials, impersonate another person or organization, evade plan limits, create accounts to bypass enforcement, or access another customer's workspace, reports, or assets.

03

Authorized security testing

You may use NetworkPilot only on domains, public IP addresses, systems, and services that you own or are explicitly authorized to assess. Authorization must cover the selected targets, testing methods, timing, and your use of a third-party cloud scanning service.

You agree that you will:

  • obtain written or otherwise verifiable authorization before scanning;
  • keep authorization current and provide evidence of it upon reasonable request;
  • select only the approved scope, ports, profiles, schedules, and assessment packs;
  • respect provider, hosting, client, and applicable legal restrictions; and
  • stop testing promptly if authorization is withdrawn or an unexpected impact occurs.

You may not use NetworkPilot to:

  • scan unrelated third parties, broadly sweep the internet, or conceal the source or purpose of activity;
  • access private, local, reserved, internal, or cloud-metadata destinations or circumvent destination controls;
  • conduct denial-of-service activity, destructive testing, malware delivery, phishing, credential stuffing, password spraying, brute force, or social engineering;
  • exploit vulnerabilities, establish persistence, exfiltrate data, alter systems, or evade security controls; or
  • violate law, contractual restrictions, sanctions, export controls, or another person's rights.

If NetworkPilot later offers a separately gated validation feature, you may use it only within the exact approved scope and controls shown for that feature. Availability of a feature does not create authorization.

04

The NetworkPilot service

NetworkPilot provides public network diagnostics, authorized exposure scanning, security-posture observations, recurring monitoring, and evidence exports. Features and limits vary by plan. Some listed assessment capabilities may remain unavailable, waitlisted, or subject to additional approval until their safety and isolation controls are production-ready.

We may impose rate, concurrency, target, port, schedule, retention, or geographic limits; block destinations; pause work; or require additional verification to protect the service and the public.

05

Results, reports, and insurance evidence

Results reflect the publicly observable state of the approved target at a particular time using the selected profile. Services may be filtered, intermittent, region-dependent, or change after a scan. Findings may contain false positives, false negatives, incomplete fingerprints, inferred service names, or remediation guidance that is not suitable for every environment.

NetworkPilot reports are operational evidence, not a certification, attestation, audit opinion, penetration-test certification, or guarantee that a system is secure, compliant, insurable, or eligible for particular coverage. Insurers, regulators, customers, and auditors decide what evidence they accept. You must review results with qualified personnel before changing systems or relying on them for security, legal, compliance, underwriting, or business decisions.

06

Customer data and reports

You retain your rights in target labels, configuration, authorization records, and report content you submit or generate ("Customer Data"). You grant NetworkPilot a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, and reproduce Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and comply with law.

You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and scope of Customer Data; for maintaining appropriate copies of important exports; and for controlling who receives reports. Do not enter passwords, private keys, payment-card data, protected health information, or unrelated personal data into NetworkPilot.

07

Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe. Checkout shows the plan, billing interval, price, discount, and amount due before you subscribe. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually until canceled.

Founding Pro offer

Eligible first-time customers using the founding offer receive Pro for $29 per month or $290 for the first annual term. The discount lasts 12 months. Unless canceled before the next renewal, the subscription then renews at the standard Pro price shown at signup, currently $39 per month or $390 per year, plus applicable taxes.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal available from NetworkPilot. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until then. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, charges are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated credits for unused time. Canceling does not erase outstanding charges.

Changes and failed payments

We may change future prices or plan features with advance notice appropriate to the change and applicable law. A price change applies no earlier than a future renewal. We may suspend paid features after a failed or disputed payment, while preserving access required by law. Taxes and currency-conversion charges may apply.

08

Third-party services

NetworkPilot depends on third-party infrastructure, including Clerk, Vercel, Neon, Stripe, public DNS and registration providers, and the networks being assessed. Their services may be unavailable or governed by separate terms and privacy policies. NetworkPilot is not responsible for third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

09

NetworkPilot ownership and feedback

NetworkPilot and its software, design, documentation, methods, trademarks, and service content are owned by PilotSuite LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

If you provide feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without obligation to you, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

10

Suspension and termination

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access, block targets, preserve relevant records, or contact affected providers when reasonably necessary to protect customers, targets, NetworkPilot, or the public; comply with law; address nonpayment; or enforce these Terms. We may act without advance notice when delay could increase risk.

You may stop using NetworkPilot at any time. Subscription cancellation is governed by the billing section above. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms—will survive.

11

Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NETWORKPILOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." PILOTSUITE LLC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES A WARRANTY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE EXCLUDED.

12

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PILOTSUITE LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, COVERAGE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY; OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO NETWORKPILOT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO NETWORKPILOT WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NETWORKPILOT DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. THESE LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

13

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PilotSuite LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, damages, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your Customer Data, your targets, your lack of authorization, your misuse of NetworkPilot, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and each party consents to their jurisdiction and venue.

Before filing a claim, please send a written description of the dispute to the contact below and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a small-claims process where eligible.

15

General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about NetworkPilot unless a signed written agreement says otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes will apply prospectively. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
